So Excited!!

Dear Jocelyn,

Yesterday I went to the doctors to get another ultrasound and it was so beautiful and wonderful to see you!! They confirmed that indeed you are a girl and promised me I could go crazy buying all things pink! I've already bought you a few cute outfits but now that they have promised me you are my sweet baby girl, I can guarantee I will spoil you just a bit!!

When you grow up I dream of sending your Daddy and Boston golfing, while we do some serious shopping and go to the spa to get massages and pedicures!! Just the thought makes me glow.

You were wiggly as can be on the ultrasound.. so you will probably be full of energy just like your big Brother! The two of you are sure to keep us busy and your sure to light up our worlds continuously. I hope you are blessed with a contagious laugh like your brother. I can't wait to see the two of you together.

I am so GRATEFUL that you are healthy and strong growing inside me and I pray that you stay that way and continue to do well. There is nothing a Mommy prays for more than the health and well being of her children. I love you sweetheart with all of my heart. Sugar and Spice and everything Nice... that's what little girls are made of!! I am so excited to meet you Jocey!!

Love Always and Forever,
Your Mommy

My Sweet Baby Girl

Dear Jocelyn,

Last week we learned that this sweet little baby growing inside of me is a girl. I can't even begin to tell you the excitement I felt when the doctor told us that. Of course I love your big brother Boston and your Daddy and Snuggles more than I ever thought I could love three boys, but there is something special about a Mom and her daughter and I am so excited I get to experience that beautiful bond with you. Your Daddy was smirking during the entire ultrasound because he just knew from the beginning that you would be our sweet baby girl.

Years and years ago I thought about the name Jocelyn. I thought it was so beautiful and girl and elegant. I dreamed of having my little Jocey someday. Of course your Daddy and I discussed other names, but from almost the moment we found out I was pregnant with you, Daddy said if it's a girl let's name her Jocelyn. A friend of mine has a little girl named Jocelyn and she told me it meant beautiful, honest and just. I am sure you will be all three of those things.

Of course I've been worried about you growing inside of me. I am anxiously waiting for your precious kicks and it is always a huge relief to hear your strong heart beat when we go to the doctors. I would do anything for you my sweet girl. I want nothing more than for you to be healthy and strong like your big Brother. He will teach you so many things. I'm sure you will be partners in crime!! I hope you are so close. I know he will love you so much.

I can't wait to go shopping for all things pink. I can't wait to do your hair someday and paint your nails. I can't wait to dress you all up for Sunday. I can't wait to have long talks with you and go shopping and to lunch with you. My family is my best friends and I just know you will become one of the best friends I will ever have.

We want you and love you even before you are born.
Like I always tell Boston. I'll love you forever. I'll like you for always. As long as I'm living and forever my baby you'll be.

Love Always and Forever,
Mommy
